Employer sent me Quickbooks link to my 1099. Clicking on link brings me to my Quickbooks homepage, but no 1099 availale. There is no client tab on left of screen.

The link prompts me to sign in to my account and upon doing so, takes me to a bugged out Quickbook home screen. No details related to the 1099 are available, there is no client tab to find said documents.

Thanks for notifying us of your concern, Christian.

 

As per checking, we have a current investigation about being unable to access the Clients tab in QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE) to view 1099 forms. Please be assured that our engineers are working diligently to resolve this issue as soon as possible.

 

In the meantime, I recommend reaching out to our customer support team so they can include you in the list of impacted users. This way, you'll receive email updates about the status of the investigation.

 

Here's how:

 

  1. Go to Help (?) and select Contact Us.
  2. Enter talk to a human, then select Continue.
  3. Choose how to connect with us: Chat with us or Have us call you.

 

For now, you can reach out directly to your employer so they can send you a copy of your 1099 form.

 

Moreover, you'll have to categorize transactions in QBSE to place them on the correct line of your Schedule C.
