Before anything else, we appreciate you allowing us to assist you with your current situation. Reviewing the screenshot attached to your response, it looks like you're accessing an account's register. Please be aware that it'll depend on the account register current setup if it shows the amount or the status. You may want to ensure the Show open balance is enabled when opening the register. We'll write down the steps to get you going:

1. Access your QuickBooks Desktop company.
2. Go to the Customers menu, and choose Enter Statement Charges .
3. Ensure to check the box beside Show open balance.

If the issue persists, know it may have something to do with the QBDT application. Know that the program offers different variants with different features and interface views. In this case, can you tell us what version of the program you're using? This way, we can provide you with a resolution to address this.

Make sure that the 'Show open balance' option is unchecked.

If it's unchecked and it still doesn't show the amounts, try checking it and unchecking again.
