Export customers to csv

I would like to export a list of my customers to a csv file.  I want the file to include the following as separate fields:

  • Customer display name
  • First Name
  • Last Name
  • Company Name
  • Email
  • Street address 1
  • Street address 2
  • City
  • State
  • ZIP code

Is this possible with QBO?  QBD could do this.

I am able to export a subset of this information to excel, but it lacks First and Last Name.  This looks like a bug.

Export customers to csv

I appreciate you bringing this matter to our attention regarding the first and last names in your exported file in QuickBooks Online (QBO), jalaughlin.

On the Reports page, you have the flexibility to customize the fields you wish to include in your exported file, allowing you to add details such as first and last names. Let's collaborate to ensure this is set up successfully.

Here's how:

  1. Go to Reports tab.
  2. In the Find report by name, choose Customer Contact List.

  3. Click the Columns, then check all the desire item to add them in the column, and uncheck the unwanted item.

(You can reorder the columns by dragging the checked item up or down to arrange them as desired.)

  4. Hit Save As button, then name your report and click Save.
