This is possibly caused by a syncing issue or temporary cached data within the app. We can do a quick refresh and reset to clear up those stuck receipts. Here’s how:
For iOS
- Go to Settings and tap General.
- Click iPhone Storage, then select the QuickBooks Online app.
- Tap Offload App. This will free up the storage without deleting your app's documents and data.
For Android
- Go to the Menu ☰ icon and tap More Options ⋮.
- Click on Settings, then Refresh Data.
- Select YES to confirm.
If the issue persists, I recommend uninstalling and reinstalling the latest version of the app. This step lets you have the latest version of the app installed.
Alternatively, you can upload your receipt through a supported web browser or manually attach the receipt to the transaction. Also, you can use the web browser available on your mobile device. This way, you can efficiently upload or snap receipts to your account.
