When you're ready, please follow the steps below according to the version you are working with:

For QBDT for Mac 2019: 

1. On your QuickBooks login screen, select Forgot Password.
2. Complete the information on the form and click OK. 
3. Get the code and enter it in the field. 
4. Select OK and type your new password on the next page. 

For QBDT for Mac 2020: 

1. On the login page, select the lock icon. 
2. Select an email address that you have access to and click OK. 
3. Check the email and follow the instructions listed in that message.

Yes finally fixed the Password problem but,  this lead to the real problem of a corrupted/unreparable QBW file that I desperately need to be recovered.  Wondershare Reoverit ans Stellar have been uanble to fix.  QB File Doctor can't either.  What now?

It isn’t the kind of outcome we want you to get after recovering the password in QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT). Even I would look for further fixes to get my file containing the most important data.

Since QuickBooks Desktop 2015 is no longer supported, you can consider Fiat Lux – ASIA’s recommendation for using a third-party application to recover your company file. Since we’re unable to provide a specific application for your use, you can visit our app store for compatible programs.
