How do I send 1 invoice and connect several estimates to it. For example:
I created Estimate 100 "Labor for repair" for $200. Send it to customer and wait for a PO to do the work...
I created Estimate 101 "Repair broken machine" for $300. Send it to same customer and wait for a PO. These are different jobs done on different days. The customer sends back 1 PO number to use for est 100 and 101 for $500.
My current method of going to est 100 and creating an invoice, making a second line on it and copying all the info off of est 101 to add to this one. Then go back and make Est 101 not active then make notes on each one that the customer combined them is not working well. A

Let me share details about creating an invoice from multiple estimates in QuickBooks Desktop. This way, you'll be able to determine how to manage your transactions and keep your account updated.
Creating an invoice from multiple estimates is currently unavailable in QuickBooks Desktop. However, you're on the right track in turning the estimate (100) into an invoice and manually copying all the information from the other one (101) in the second line. Then, add your notes to track them properly.
Estimates are non-posting sales transactions. This means they don't affect your accounts in any way unless converted into an invoice.

If I understand correctly, using the Estimate to create an invoice allows for progress billing and helps to keep track of what portion of the estimate has/has not been billed. How would this tracking take place if I cut and paste from the second estimate? Is there a way to create one invoice using only certain line items from two different estimates for the same customer and job?

When you are creating your invoice from an estimate, you have three options.
The third one is the option you'll select: "Create invoice for selected items". That will give you the opportunity to choose what to include in that invoice.

I appreciate the prompt reply! My issue is that I need to include, in a single invoice, selected items from MORE THAN ONE estimate. Many times, projects will have multiple estimates due to different scopes of work and/or subcontractors performing the work. But the client does not want to receive, nor do I want to record, two or more invoices in a given month. In one invoice, I want to be able to include specific lines from each of the two or three estimates involved. And, of course, I need for the applicable entries in the estimates to show the amount billed in the progress invoice, just as it would if only a single estimate were involved. I hope you have suggestion(s) for me!

As of the moment, there isn't an integrated way to select multiple estimates when creating an invoice. You'll be asked to create a separate invoice for every open estimate of your customers.

I am having the same issue as RoseR and MachineWorks504. Including multiple estimates on a single invoice needs to be an included feature in Quickbooks Desktop please!

Really bad that this feature is not in Enterprise. I have several clients for whom I have multiple open estimates and need to create a single invoice for all or parts of those open estimates.
