How do I add Merchant Service Center to the Icon Bar?

We Use Quickbooks Desktop, we have multiple users. The boss and I have been using it for years. I have the Merchant Service Center on my Icon Bar, so does anyone new we've set up through the years. The boss, the admin account, he doesn't have this icon on his bar. I've searched all over, I've tried everything I know, but I can't seem to get this on his icon bar? He doesn't use it often, but when he does he can NEVER remember where it's at. I posed this question before but there were no solutions. I can't find it now, but hopefully after a few years someone can find a way to make this happen for me.

Thanks for the help.

Thank you for giving me additional details on how it looks like, DarthNO2.

To add the Merchant Service Center icon on the icon bar, you have to click the Customize icon bar button. Let's go ahead and do these steps instead:

  1. In QuickBooks, click the arrow icon on the toolbar then select Customize Icon Bar.

  2. Select the Add button, then choose Cards & eChecks.
  3. Edit the Label as Merchant Service Center and click OK.
  4. To save the changes. On the Customize Icon Bar section, click OK.

I also added a screenshot for your reference:

Now, you can see the Merchant service center icon on the toolbar:

How do I add Merchant Service Center to the Icon Bar?

I'm not sure what this was supposed to do; the desktop is already linked to the merchant account. I can get to the merchant center through the Customers menu. I want the link buried in the menu put onto the icon bar at the top of the screen.

I've added a pic. The top bar is the bosses, the bottom bar is mine. I've highlighted the icon/link we want to appear on his bar. By default it's on all the new accounts we've created, but for some reason not his.

How do I add Merchant Service Center to the Icon Bar?

@MarsStephanieL

I am having a similar issue but not involving merchant. A few of us have an icon in the toolbar that is labeled "Unpaid Bills" but a few of us do not. I have been trying to find it but no luck. I know we can always go through the reports center to view this report but the icon in the toolbar is much more efficient. How can I add the Unpaid Bills report to my toolbar?

Hello there,

We're unable to create shortcuts for unpaid bills. However, you can easily save the customized unpaid bills so you can directly select it under the Memorized Reports option. There are several ways to access and open memorized reports.

From the Memorized Report List:

  1. Go to the Reports menu and select Memorized Reports then Memorized Report List .
  2. On the Memorized Report List window, double click the report.

Under the Reports menu:

  1. Go to the Reports menu and select Memorized Reports.
  2. Select the report.

To help you more with handling your reports, you can use this link: Customize reports in QuickBooks Desktop.
