How do I correct checks from printing upside down? Put checks in correctly, tried Ron Sage all come upside down.

Greetings, jeanne-woods-at-.

I'd be happy to help resolve this and ensure that your checks will print properly.

This sort of behavior is often caused by an outdated Adobe version which can easily be resolved by downloading the latest version. In addition, you could check the printing alignment setting in QuickBooks and make sure it's set up correctly. The steps below will guide you on how to do it:

  1. Select the Plus icon (+) on the Toolbar.
  2. Under Vendors, choose Print Checks.
  3. At the bottom of the page, select Print Setup.
  4. The window changes to Print checks setup. Choose Nocontinue setup at the bottom of the page. On the next screen, select Nocontinue setup.
  5. Now you’re on Fine-tune alignment. Drag the grid inside the large square to the place where it appears on your printout. This lets QuickBooks figure out how to adjust the alignment.
  6. Select View preview and print sample in the lower left and choose Print at the bottom.
  7. After the sample is printed on plain paper, hold it up to the light against a check and see if the alignment is correct.
  8. If you still need to do some fine tuning, close the sample and then go back to the grid to make adjustments, then print a fresh sample.
  9. Select Finish Setup when your sample’s alignment looks correct.

I'm also including this article for more information about this process: Setup to print checks

That should do it. Keep me posted with the result on your end. I want to make sure everything is taken care of.

How do I correct checks from printing upside down? Put checks in correctly, tried Ron Sage all come upside down.

This is the most aggravating problem I have with Quickbooks. My Adobe IS up to date and my checks are aligned properly. I just printed a batch yesterday with no problem. Then today, every bleeping one of them came out upside down. I'm tired of wasting checks. This happens all the time. Intuit - PLEASE FIX THIS!!!!!!!

Hi there, Rosemary. We appreciate you for joining us here in the thread. Let me help you fix this concern and get back to business.

Since your Adobe Reader is up to date, I suggest uninstalling and reinstalling it again to fix this. After that, you can restart your printer and uncheck the print from both sides of the printer settings. However, contacting our support team is recommended if the steps I provided don't solve your problem. They have the necessary expertise and tools that can help you resolve this concern with ease.

Here's how to reach them:

  1. In your QuickBooks, click Help (?).
  2. Select either of these tabs:
  • Assistant tab and select Talk to a human.
  • Search tab and click on Contact Us to connect with a support expert.
