Buy nowWhen I moved to Quickbooks Online and downloaded the app, it had the ability to still view in Desktop View by clicking a toggle button. This option is still available for 2 of my companies. On one of them however, the option to switch the view is gone. Where did it go?
Thank you for bringing this to our attention, Steve.
The Desktop View toggle switch has been removed for all users except accountants and IES Tango users. This change is part of the transition to the new Fusion platform, an all-in-one integrated experience designed to improve usability and streamline your workflow.
That’s why you still see the option in some of your companies but not others, as only accountants and IES Tango users retain access to the Desktop View toggle.
You can explore QuickBooks on the Intuit Platform (all-in-one integrated experience) that will help you manage your books along with all your tools and services in one place.
Please leave us a response if you have other questions or concerns.
What is the reason for the change? The platform worked great as it was. Why are you forcing all your users to learn a new system??
This is a TERRIBLE update ..........
I preferred my Desktop version but was forced to go to Online .......
The only thing I liked about it was the Desktop View and now THAT'S gone.
Ridiculous. QB is no longer the accounting program of choice. Pisses me off.
