How do I print an expense including all the detail that I edited that before I click "Save and close" or even after I save the changes?

Oops, typo. The question should read, "How do I print an expense transaction including all the detail that I edited?" If I click "Save and close" or even "Save", the changes remain. Unlike a check, however, there is no mechanism to print the item. Why not? These transactions are frequently debit card purchases linked to my bank account. I want to print the item detail to attach to my receipt. How can I make this simple request happen? Please advise. Thank you.

How do I print an expense including all the detail that I edited that before I click "Save and close" or even after I save the changes?

I'm having the same problem... I cannot find a way to print an expense with all of the detail included in the transaction (Product/Service, Description, Quantity, Rate, Amount, Customer/Project, Class).  The proposed solution does not bring this information to the print screen.  It would be nice if you could print the information after doing a "Search"

Printing your expenses after searching is efficient indeed, Bill TCE. I can help you find a workaround while we request this functionality from our developers.

I see the convenience of printing the expense details like Product/Service, Description, Quantity, Rate, Amount, Customer/Project, and Class. Since we can only print limited info, I recommend sending a request to our Product Development Team. We value your thoughts and interesting ideas, which will help ease the process. Follow the steps below:

  1. Go to the Gear icon at the top.
  2. Under the Profile column, select Feedback.
  3. Share your recommendation with the product, then click Next.

Keep an eye on your suggestions on this website and visit our blog for recent developments.

In the meantime, you can open the expense transaction and click the Ctrl + P keys to view the Print window. However, this does not show the complete fields. Another way to get the data you need is via the Audit history of the entry. I'm adding some screenshots for reference:
