How else can you scan receipts? The phones home button is right where the scan receipt option is.

Greetings, @jnsasha250,

I have several suggestions to help you snap and upload your receipts to your QuickBooks Mobile App efficiently. Ensuring that your receipts are correctly documented in your application is crucial for saving time and accurately recording expenses under the correct vendors.

To address the issue of the home button interfering with the snap button, you can adjust your phone's settings to modify the size and position of the on-screen buttons. Please check your device's settings to see if this customization is possible and resolve the conflict. If you need assistance, I recommend contacting your device's technical support for guidance.

Alternatively, you can change the camera screen layout or alter the orientation to move the scan button away from the home button.

If the issue persists, you can take a clear picture of the receipt using your phone's camera app and manually import that image into the application. I'll share the steps for uploading images using the snap receipts option, along with a screenshot for better reference. Please note that I’m using an iOS device:

  1. Go to the Menu.
  2. Select Receipt snap.
  3. Click the Camera icon.
  4. Tap the Photo icon and select the receipt from your photos.
  5. Review the image and click the Use this photo button to start uploading.

Generate your Profit and Loss report using the QuickBooks Online app for Android. This allows you to determine how to allocate your resources and monitor them while you're on the move. Here’s how to do it:
