At my company we have two licenses for quickbooks mac, one for my employer and one for myself. I registered both products under his name but I didn't think Quickbooks phone support would refuse to give me support because my name is not in either of the licenses.
I'm the one in charge of everything quickbooks related so now I have to find a way to add my name to the licenses. I'm not sure how to go about this because I registered the licenses by simply adding them to the quickbooks desktop app and there doesn't seem to be a place to update license information.
My employer has no time to waste calling quickbooks, and I definitely do not want to call back because they are of no help. If anyone has a solution that does not involve calling Phone Support, it is most welcome.
(Just for extra information, I do have access to all and any information pertaining our licenses that may be needed to update them online, if it's possible)
Do you have any access to your CAMPS?
I do have my personal CAMPS account, but it is not linked with anything and there is not a place to put the license to link it to it. I don't really remember putting an email address when I registered the license, but if I did it was my boss's email. I did try Claim Account, it sent a link to his email, but I clicked on it and nothing different happened. Maybe I should try from his email to claim my account?
To activate any new license, Intuit will register an email address as the primary contact. Ask your boss to login to CAMPS and register your own email address as additional contact, or put your email address to replace him as the primary contact.
