How to edit a packing slip in QB online? Has this issue been corrected in QB Online?

Since customizing or editing packing slips isn't available inside QuickBooks Online (QBO), we recommend sending a feature request to our Product Development Team. This way, suggestions reach our engineers, and they'll evaluate the idea and consider it for future updates. We'll write down the steps to get you going:

1. Access your QuickBooks Online company.
2. On the top right-corner, click the Gear icon.
3. Select Feedback and then enter your comments or product suggestions.
4. Once ready, click Next to submit feedback.

On the other hand, the option to modify packing slip in QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) is still functioning as designed. For more details, please see this page: Use and customize form templates.

To answer your question, the answer is no. The customization of basically all of QuickBooks online is non existent. People have been requesting this change for at least 5 years now and nothing has been done. 

Sad….. this program could really be good with a few simple changes.

I am following up on whether the ability to customize packing slips in QuickBooks Online has been rectified or whether we still sit with an issue of not being able to customize these further. I note that the "ship to" address has been included but want to remove the following:

• Email contact details, telephone number and website link in the section where entity name appears. By entity I am referring to the entity that will be packing the goods, not the customer.
• Bill to data
• Invoice type data

Please know that packing slips play a crucial role in providing customers with essential shipping information, including items and quantities. You can create a new custom form style or modify a template for packing slip customizations.

Here are the steps to modify the fields in the Content tab:

1. Go to the Gear icon, then select Custom form styles.
2. From the New style drop-down menu, choose Invoice or choose an Invoice template and click Edit.
3. Navigate to the Content tab and click on the upper header of the invoice form.
4. Uncheck the box for any fields you find unnecessary.
5. Click Done to save your changes.

Additionally, I completely understand the importance of removing the Bill to data section from packing lists for a cleaner presentation when printing. I recommend sending a feature request to our Product Development team, as your input is invaluable in helping us improve the program. Here's how:

1. Go to the Gear menu and then select Feedback.
2. Type in your feature request in the description box.
3. Once done, click on Next.

From what I can tell, this has been requested like a thousand times online. Is nobody trying to make it editable at Intuit? We really need to be able to edit the format of a Packing Slip. It is crucial. 

I am seeking the same solution. The invoice amount is absent from the packing slip, making it unhelpful to create or edit a sales invoice.

Editing the packing slip and showing the invoice amount would be helpful to your business. However, this feature is currently unavailable in QuickBooks Online (QBO). In the meantime, I recommend sending feedback to our Product Engineers. They can review your suggestion and consider adding it in future updates. 

Here's how:

1. Select the Gear icon, then choose Feedback.
2. Type in your product suggestions.
3. Select Next to submit.
