How to export all information entered on bills to Excel, including Description, Tags, Memo?

It's good to see you here, @linbogu.

 

I'll hop in this thread to give you more details on exporting bills and other information in QuickBooks Online.

 

By going to the Reports tab, we can export bill information and personalize it according to your preferences. 

 

Here's how:

 

1. Go to the Reports tab.

2. Choose bill reports in the Search bar and click the Customize button.

3. You'll notice the Side Bar appear on the left pane.

4. We can customize the details by putting a Checkmark you show to show in the GeneralRows/ColumnFilter, and Header/Footer dropdowns.

5. Then hit Run Report.

6. Once the Report is displayed, let's migrate the data by clicking the Export button. 

7. Lastly, choose Export to excel. 

 

Furthermore, since Tags are unavailable in the report details, we can submit Feedback to our developers. They will help you enhance your experience navigating QuickBooks Online. Follow this article for the detailed steps: How to submit Feedback.

How to export all information entered on bills to Excel, including Description, Tags, Memo?

Thank you for the advice, Christine.

I am aware of the steps mentioned.  However, there are issues with

1. the Memo/Description column

  • Only the input to Memo is shown.
  • The input to Description does not show up, and there can be several lines of Description.

2. the Tags

  • I shall feedback to the developers.
  • Good also, if they can allow direct Export to Excel the Transactions by Tag reports instead of only allowing Print to PDF [upon converting this PDF to Excel, all the information is placed in Column A].

 

Good too if Bill reports can be more customisable, including new columns of information.
