To clarify, are you trying to map accounts for tax forms in QuickBooks Online for Accountants? If so, then you don't need to re-map the accounts every year. However, since the updates didn't show up in 2017, then I'd recommend you reach out to our Customer Care Team.
They can pull up your account in a secure environment and further investigate why the updates didn't show up. Here's how you can reach them:
Contact QuickBooks Support
- Click the link to head to the Official Intuit Contact page.
- Choose the QuickBooks Accountant
- Select Learning how to use QuickBooks, then Manage Clients.
- In section 2, Here's how to connect with a QuickBooks expert, click Get Phone Number.
