I can give you some steps to help you resolve the issue. This will also check if browser issue is preventing you from customizing reports in QuickBooks Online.
Start with logging in to your account using a different browser. QBO can be used in any of these supported browsers:
- Mozilla
- Chrome
- Microsoft Edge
- Internet Explorer.
- Safari
After logging back in, please check if that would let you customize reports. You can also switch to an incognito/private browsing and check if you can customize reports. Press CTRL + Shift + N for Chrome and CTRL + Shift + P for Mozilla.
