Let me assist you with your concern about what version to choose in QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT).

You can check the available features in every version to better see the product that fits for your business needs.
On the other hand, if the four branches of your company have different EINs, you’ll have to create a company file per branch to have the taxes recorded correctly. However, in this setup, viewing them in one dashboard is unavailable. That said, you’ll have to switch to every company file to check and manage them.
Moreover, if you want to have a consolidated report, you can follow these steps:
- From the Reports menu, choose Combine Reports from Multiple Companies.
- Select Add Files and choose the other company file, then click Open. Repeat the steps for additional files.
- Choose the reports that you need to combine.
- Adjust the date range of the report.
- Click the Combine Reports in Excel to open an Excel spreadsheet with the combined information.
