I have started using sales orders in QBO Advanced but after creating one, I do not see where to turn it into an invoice. I also want to set a workflow automation for it.

I want to set the workflow automation in such a way that when a sales order is created, it will be sent for approval and then it can be turned into an invoice just like purchase orders can be approved and turned into bills.

You can view the Convert to Invoice feature by clicking the dropdown arrow under the Actions column, keziahkyei.

Here's how to locate it:

  1. Select Sales, then Sales Orders.
  2. Find the transactions from the list.
  3. Click the dropdown arrow from the Action column and select Convert to invoice.

Furthermore, please know that sales orders are currently not included in the workflow automation. For now, we can continue manually converting them.
