Join nowHow can I import customer history into point of sale from quickbooks pro?
Hello, and welcome to the Community, Jennifer24CAG.
The first step in importing customer data from QuickBooks Desktop to Point of Sale is exporting the information from your company file. You can export customer lists into an Excel spreadsheet and then import that file to your POS system.
I'll guide you through how client data is exported from QBDT Pro:
1. Access the Customer/Vendor/Payroll center.
2. Choose the Excel drop-down menu and pick one of the displayed options.
3. An Export window will display, elect to create a new worksheet or update an existing worksheet.
4. Select the Export button. MS Excel will be run by QuickBooks where the info can be edited if necessary.
Now you'll have a copy of your customer records which can be imported into Point of Sale. You can follow the steps in our import and export overview article to get your spreadsheet details entered.
