We're a shipment company and we have many entries every day. We have the data in excel file exported from our shipment system and we need to import it into QuickBooks.

But I could not find the Accountant menu within QuickBooks Premier 2020.
Is there a way to import general journal entries with QuickBooks Premiers 2020 or we have to upgrade to a different version?
Please help ASAP.

Welcome to the Community. Let me provide some information about importing data in QuickBooks Desktop.
For the Premier version, the Accountant tab is available at the top menu bar. In between the Favorites and Company option (see screenshot below).
Currently, importing general journal entries using an Excel spreadsheet is unavailable. For now, you can only upload Customer, Vendor, Items, and Chart of Accounts using that format.
I recommend converting it to an IIF file to import your journal entries using the current version you have in the system. You can search for a third-party application that will perform the conversion process on your behalf.

The Accountant menu is, I think, only available when using the Accountant SKU.
You can import Journals using IIF files. If your Journals can be opened in Excel, or entered into Excel in some way, then you can use our BRC IIF Transaction Creator Pro to create IIF files from them for import.
