Invoices not loading on my customers

Hello, joepinzari.

I'll help you get back on track and fix the loading issues on your invoices.

Does this happen to the invoicing feature alone? If so, then this is likely a browser cache issue. If a certain webpage's cache data is corrupted (or if the cache storage is full), it can cause problems within QuickBooks. These prevent a certain features from working (in your case, the invoices).

To see if this is the case, let's use an incognito or private window. It doesn't use the existing cache data, which is perfect for ruling out these kinds of issues. The shortcut keys:

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P

Log in to your QuickBooks Online company from there and open or create an invoice. If it loads properly, then close the private window and go back to your regular browser. Next, clear its cache to resolve the loading issue. Finally, close and reopen it to complete the process.

Alternatively, use a supported browser to process your invoices.

If you're using the QuickBooks Online Windows app, try resetting its app data to fix this. Simply click the Help menu, then choose Reset App Data

However, if the loading issue happens all throughout QuickBooks Online (and other websites), then you'll want to check if there are network interruptions or internet problems. Try restarting your connection to fix this.

After fixing the issue, do you need help managing your invoices and customer sales? Our articles can definitely assist you. Open this link and look for one that best suits your situation. Scroll down to More Help Topics if you need a hand with other tasks in QuickBooks Online.

I'm down to answer any other future questions you might have for QBO. Post a reply here and I'll get back to you as soon as possible. Enjoy the rest of your week!
