Invoices to customers

I have a client that requires his invoices to have three factors on each line:

Equipment rate x number of days x rental rate.

How can this be done or has someone customized an invoice to have three factor reach the total invoiced?

Please help.

Thanks Olga

What is the difference between equipment rates and rental rates?

Have you considered using a rental management app to integrate with QB Desktop?

Thanks for sharing this great idea, @aamericanfinancialsvc.

I can see the benefit of being able to add a custom column on your invoice for you and your business. However, we’re currently unable to add equipment rate, no. of days, and rental rate.

In the meantime, you’ll want to import templates for your invoices. This way, you can personalize the form and its information. Please know that you can’t import templates created in one regional version of QuickBooks into another.

Here’s how:

  1. Open the company file that you want to import the template into.
  2. Go to the Lists menu, select Templates.
  3. From the Templates ▼ dropdown, click Import.
  4. Choose the template you want to import, then select Open.
  5. Name the imported template. You can keep the original name or change it.
  6. Tap OK.

Additionally, you can customize form templates to add a logo, change fonts and colors, and update information. You can also duplicate a form template and apply the design to another. See this article for the detailed steps: Use and customize form templates.

Let me know if you still have questions or concerns with personalizing invoices. I'm more than happy to assist you. Take care and have a wonderful day ahead.
