Is it possible to iframe QBO estimates in another web tool?

I have an app I am going to use for business proposals.  I can iframe pages into it and was thinking it would be great to include the business estimate in an iframe.  It is possible to do this in any way?  My calendar apps iframe really nicely, but when I try to iframe the estimate link, I get the message that connect.intuit.com refused to connect.

TIA!

Is it possible to iframe QBO estimates in another web tool?

I’m sorry, but it’s not possible to embed QuickBooks Online pages, such as estimates, into an iframe on another website. QuickBooks Online uses security measures to prevent its pages from being embedded in iframes on other websites. This is why you’re seeing the message that connect.intuit.com refused to connect.

One alternative could be to download the estimate as a PDF and then embed the PDF into your business proposal app. This way, you can still include the estimate in your proposal while complying with QuickBooks Online’s security measures.

I hope this helps! Is there anything else you need help with?

Welcome to the Community, Michelle.

Let me guide you to the appropriate department to assist you further with your programming-related issue in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

Please be aware that while the Community frequently provides troubleshooting advice and solutions to specific issues, there are some details that only our Intuit Developers can provide.

We have a different discussion thread where we may speak with software engineers and developers about issues with product integration or developer licenses. In light of this, I advise posting your query to our Intuit Developer Community page.

To do that:

  1. Go to the Intuit Developer Support website.
  2. Click QuickBooks Online.
  3. Select Ask a Question.
  4. When prompted to sign in, log in to your Intuit account.
  5. Enter a short description of your concern and click Ask.

You can also search for a compatible third-party application that can meet your business needs.

In addition, you can customize estimates, so they'd appear professional and attractive when sending them to your customers.

Keep me posted if you need further assistance relating to estimates. I'm here to answer your queries. Stay safe!
