Is it possible to Link my Payoneer card? (Mastercard) Whenever I try to link it, it brings an error message and it doesn't let me to continue. Thank you

Let me provide insights into various causes why your bank isn't linking to online banking in QuickBooks Online (QBO). I'll also ensure you can link them to the program smoothly.

To further check this concern, can you tell me what specific error is when connecting? Knowing this information will help me provide an accurate solution for this matter.

Below are potential reasons for the difficulty in connecting your bank account:

  • The bank may not be a participating bank.
  • Your bank might not be compatible with certain account types, such as business or personal accounts.
  • The bank is currently undergoing system maintenance.
  • Some banks have multiple names on our list. You might want to check and select the correct one or try all possible bank URLs.

I recommend checking with your bank to inquire if there are any ongoing maintenance updates or requests related to establishing a connection with QuickBooks. After confirming that there are no issues from the bank's end, connect your bank account to QuickBooks again.

To check, I encourage you to visit the Connect an Account page and search using their website's URL. This ensures that you're using the correct listing and that you'll be connecting to the right account. Here's how:

  1. Go to Transactions, then select Bank Transactions.
  2. Select Link Account.
  3. Enter the URL or name of your bank in the Search field, then select the bank.
  4. Enter your credentials in the Login and Password fields, then select Continue
  5. Choose the account you wish to link and select the date range to retrieve transactions from the dropdown ▼. Afterwards, proceed by clicking on the Next button.
  6. Configure your account as desired.

Than you so much for your complete answer.

The error message that I get every time I try to add my payoneer account is "If you need to connect to banks with different currencies, upgrade to QuickBooks Online Essentials or Plus."

Payoneer is a Mastercard debit card, and it's a personal account. But it is always in USD, so I am not sure why it is talking about different currencies. Payoneer does appear as one of the accepted acconts.

And when I exit the message, I get another message that says: "

You may have incorrectly typed the address (URL) or clicked on an outdated link."

Any other insight about it, please?

Thank you!

We appreciate you getting back here in the thread. We'll provide further details to help you get through this and connect the Payoneer Master Debit account to QuickBooks Online (QBO).

When connecting a bank account inside QBO, you'll want to select the bank account with the correct description and region to ensure successful connectivity. If the issue persists, we recommend utilizing other supported browsers when linking the account to your company file.

Feel free to refer to this page to see other supported browsers: System requirements for QuickBooks Online products.

In case your bank doesn't appear on the list. We recommend reaching out to your bank and sending them a request so that they can become one of the supported financial institutions of the program. These are the steps:

  1. Access your QuickBooks Online company
  2. On the left navigational bar, click Transactions and then select Bank transactions.
  3. Select Link account.
  4. Search for the name of your financial institution. If QuickBooks is unable to find your bank, you will get the message, "Hmm, we can’t find [name of the bank you entered] in our list of supported banks," and you will be presented with helpful tips to try and locate your bank account.
  5. If you’re still unable to find your bank, select Request.
  6. Enter your bank's web address (URL) in the field provided, then select Request.

You can also download bank transactions from your financial firm and import them manually inside QBO if you cannot link the bank account. For further guidelines, please see this page: Manually upload transactions into QuickBooks Online.

In addition, here's an article to help you reconcile an account inside the program, fix issues with the reconciliation, and learn more about the file format accepted inside QBO when importing bank transactions:
