I received the same message, then a message popped up that said, Way to go! We'll handle those 1099s from here. But, unfortunately my 1099s were not filed. (Although they were sure to charge me the full amount as if they processed!). I chatted with a rep this morning who said they were working on the problem. It's ridiculous we pay for this and they can't support their own product. I have 255 1099s to efile. This is not okay and extremely frustrating and unnerving. I sure hope they get this situation fixed very soon.
