Landing costs --- will not post to bill

It's a pleasure to have you here, @talk2khurram. Let me provide some insights about missing landing costs post to bill button.

A data integrity issue could be the reason why post to bill button is missing. In this case, let's run the  Verify Rebuild Data tool that helps identify and repairs data issues within your company file. But before doing so, let's ensure that your QuickBooks Desktop is updated to the latest release.

Then, proceed to these following steps:

  1. Select Window and then click Close All.
  2. Choose File then Utilities. Select Verify Data.
  3. Let the tool check your file for data issues.
  4. If QuickBooks doesn't find any problems, select OK. You can keep using your company file. You don't have any data damage.

  1. Choose FileUtilities and then Rebuild Data.
  2. You will receive a warning message to backup your company file, press OK.A rebuild requires a company file backup beforehand because in rare cases the process may need to delete transactions or list entries to fix the file.
  3. Select where you want to save your backup, then select OK at the bottom of the QuickBooks Desktop Backup window.
  4. The Rebuild Data utility starts as soon as the backup is finished.
  5. Click OK when you get the message Rebuild has completed.

For more information, please see this article: Verify and Rebuild Data in QuickBooks Desktop.

  2. Select the Update Now tab.
  3. Put a checkmark on the Reset Update checkbox to clear all previous update downloads.
  4. Click Get Updates to start the download.
  5. Restart your QuickBooks Desktop once the update is finished.
