Buy nowI use the free "Time Entries" feature on QBO to record what kind of work my employees do one what projects. When they select the type of service they have done that day, these see ALL of the services I have ever used to create an estimate. A lot of the services I put on estimates, are for things that I have Subcontractors do and I don't want my employees to have the option to accidentally select these (vs the services we provide that are coded to WC codes). Is there any way I can limit the list of services my employees can choose from when logging their time in QBO?
Hello there, dollars. I understand the importance of having the functionality of limiting the list of services your employees when logging their time would be beneficial to your business.
When entering time, if you don't have the QuickBooks Time feature, the service list can't be modified. This feature allows you to track the time spent on a particular job. If a team member isn't assigned to a job or customer, they won't be able to see it on their card.

Upon reading your post, it appears that you are using the free time entries feature QBO offered. Please be aware that you can't modify the service list when entering time once utilizing the free feature. However, this will be possible if you have access to QuickBooks Time, as explained by my colleague above.
