Having just successfully used QB2019 Premier the day before, now I cannot open any account register or run memorized reports without an error. I've tried running QB Tool Hub/Quick Fix & Diagnostic Tool with no success. Upon running Diagnostic Tool it did suggest that I should make sure my Windows 10 was updated. Some time ago I shut off Windows updates because it was creating problems running some 3rd party software. Could updates not being current cause my problem?

Yes, many people are suddenly seeing this. It does not appear to have anything to do with your company file. When a user sees this it happens in all their files. It seems to be related either to a QuickBooks change or a Windows change; It appears to be happening in multiple QuickBooks versions - all at once.
On another thread, customers are posting that running QuickBooks with administrator privileges makes it work again.
To do this, right click the QB icon on your desktop (or start menu) and pick Run as administrator.
