Try opening your QBO account on any private/incognito browser.

Hi @ballroomdanise.

I know how much you to get this quicker. I can help share insights and solutions to keep your business running in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

To start with, I suggest checking your internet connection and going to the QBO status page to see a posted outage.

In addition, you can isolate this issue by running browser troubleshooting steps as mentioned by Fiat Lux - ASIA using an incognito/private window. This mode doesn't save web searches and cookies. Feel free to use these shortcut keys:

  • Ctrl Shift for Google Chrome
  • Ctrl Shift for Firefox & Microsoft Edge
  • Command Shift for Safari

Once you're able to record payments manually, go back to your regular browser and then clear its cache to delete the accumulated junk files. This helps online applications like QBO to execute faster. Alternatively, switching to other supported browsers can also help fix this issue.

Please place a comment if you have other concerns or tell me how it goes while navigating QBO. I'm always here to help you more. Have a great weekend.

Hi there, @Pearl189.

I'll make sure this matter is addressed timely to ensure you can access your customers in QuickBooks Online seamlessly.

To start with, it's recommended to use the Google Chrome browser and to install its latest version while using QuickBooks. Kindly read this article to learn more about a few things to consider for the best experience you can get: Why is QuickBooks Online Slow?.

Yes, @Fiat Lux - ASIA is correct, it's best to log in to your online account via the incognito or private browser. However, if you can confirm you've already followed the basic browser troubleshooting suggestion above, I suggest contacting our Customer Care Support.

With their tools, you can work with one of our specialists in creating a ticket via your email on file letting our engineering team investigate why you have experienced such inconvenience. You can do so by following the steps below:

  1. Go to Help.
  2. Select Search.
  3. Click Contact Us.
  4. Enter a few words describing how you're unable to access your customers' file in the What can we help you with? text area.
  5. Choose Chat or Callback to connect with our specialists online.

On that same page, I'm including this reference for the steps in creating a document for your customers showing what is due for a certain number of days: Create and Send Statements in QuickBooks Online. This way, you can remind them and let them prepare the needed payment for your invoices.

Let me know how it works in the comments below. Don't forget to tag my name, @JonpriL, if you have questions other than working with your customers in QuickBooks Take care always, @Pearl189!
