Need to print sales invoice on 2 different printers simultaneously

This probably sounds like a strange situation, but I have a need to generate a sales invoice, or a sales invoice and a packing slip on 2 different printers once a sale is complete in QB POS.

The reason being...the sales invoice will be generated and handed to the customer at the time of the sale.  Merchandise is then picked up in a warehouse.   I'd like to have a printer in the warehouse generate a form (another copy of the sales invoice, packing slip, etc) that tells the warehouse what needs picked and brought out to the customer.    This would need to happen at the time of the sale so those items can be picked and ready for customer pickup.

Is there any way to do this?   Thanks!

Need to print sales invoice on 2 different printers simultaneously

This is a unique requirement, but it's understandable given your business needs. Directly, QuickBooks POS (and most software) does not support simultaneous printing on two different printers.

One solution would be to use third party software that can redirect the print jobs to multiple printers:

  • Print Conductor: This software isn't entirely free but does offer a free version for non-commercial use with limited features. It allows for batch printing documents on multiple printers.
  • Multiple Printers: Simple software that allows you to print a single document on multiple printers. However, it might not be sufficient for more complex needs.
  • Print Distributor (Free Trial): This is a more advanced software that allows you to create virtual printers, manage print jobs, and distribute them to multiple physical printers. It's not free, but they offer a free trial for you to test out its functionalities.

Hope these work for you unless you found a solution over the last few months.
