New look - Margins inside the software

Hi,

You've changed something and now the margins inside the software program just seem to decide to go bigger or smaller on its own. I have to adjust the margins for EVERY SINGLE INVOICE and it's very tiresome. Please contact your IT department and change the code so that the margins are the same every time I create a new invoice. This is ridiculous.

thanks

I want to ensure you have a better experience using QuickBooks Online (QBO), especially with the Invoicing feature, 9130356876184986. Allow me to share some steps to help maintain consistent margins on your invoices.

Begin by launching QBO in private browsing or incognito mode to eliminate the possibility of any webpage issues. Next, create an invoice to check if the margins will change automatically (either getting bigger or smaller). Here are the shortcut keys in each browser:

  • Google Chrome: Press Ctrl + Shift + N.
  • Safari 11 or newer: Press ⌘ + Shift + N.
  • Mozilla Firefox: Press Ctrl + Shift + P.
  • Microsoft Edge: Press Ctrl + Shift + P.

If the invoice margins don't change in private browsing, return to your regular browser to clear the cache and cookies. This will help improve browsing speed and resolve issues related to outdated or corrupted cached data. Alternatively, you can utilize another supported browser.

Additionally, you can set a default template to standardize the format and content of your invoices which prevents you from manually changing the margins. For detailed instructions, head to Step 7 in this guide: Customize invoices, estimates, and sales receipts in QuickBooks Online.

Thank you for your feedback, however, I am not talking about what the margins are for the printed invoice, those are fine. I'm talking about when you create a new transaction/invoice and you go down to the first line item of product/service. The date, product/service, description, qty, rate and amount boxes change in size with every new transaction/invoice I create. Those margins change since the new rolled out version. That's what I'd like fixed so I don't have to physically change the margins in every invoice I create.

Thanks
