Let's make sure you'll be able to fix the issue so you can get back on track, talk2khurram.

Sometimes, you may notice possible data issues or odd behavior the same as you're experiencing right now. You can use the Verify and Rebuild Data tool to resolve this.  I've outlined the steps below:

  1. Go to the File menu, then hover over Utilities and select Rebuild Data.
  2. On the QuickBooks Information window, select OK. Follow the onscreen steps to save a backup.
  3. Let the tool repair your file. It may take some time. QuickBooks may seem stuck, but as long as you can move your mouse, the tool is working.
  4. When the tool finishes, select OK.
  5. Go to the File menu. Then hover over Utilities and select Verify Data.
  6. Let the tool check your file for data issues.

However, if you still have an issue, you can proceed using the QuickBooks File Doctor to fix your company file.  For more information. I've added these articles for your guide:

Furthermore, in case you may experience some of the common errors in QuickBooks. I've got this article that may illustrate common error codes: Unrecoverable Error: General Troubleshooting Steps

How will rebuilding the company file impact how the QuickBooks application draws the window? (I don't think it will.)
