Printer setting keeps defaulting to double-sided

When I try to print checks they are defaulting to double-sided. This is within QB Premier Edition 2020 on windows/desktop, and QB has been fully updated. I've tried changing the printer settings within QB under "check/paycheck" forms but doing so causes QB to freeze. I have to force quit and reopen QB, and my settings change doesn't stick.  Printing checks one at a time sucks :(

Here's how:

 

  1. Make sure to close QuickBooks.
  2. Download the most recent version of the QuickBooks Tool Hub (1.5.0.0).
  3. Save the file where you can easily find it.
  4. Next, open the file you downloaded (QuickBooksToolHub.exe).
  5. Follow the on-screen steps to install it.
  6. Then double-click the icon on your Windows desktop to open the tool.
  7. In the QuickBooks Tool Hub screen, go to the left panel and choose Program Problems.
  8. Click the QuickBooks PDF & Print Repair Tool menu to run it.pdf print tool.png

Once done, try to print a transaction in QuickBooks again. If the issue persists, perform Solutions 2-4 in this article: Troubleshoot PDF and Print problems with QuickBooks Desktop.
