QB Pro Desktop Version

Thank you for replying. I don't need help setting it up as I am very experienced in it. My main concern was being able to purchase the license new and still being supported. So, if customers can only purchase until September 30th, what happens after that? Are you discontinuing the desktop versions all together and if so, how long will this new version we buy be supported?

So, purchasing from a reputable source, do you just get a key to download it?

Thanks for getting back here in the thread, @Thassell1963. I'll provide more information about purchasing a new QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) license.

As the previous representative shared, new customers can purchase different QBDT licenses until September 30, 2024. After the said extension, QuickBooks Desktop Pro Plus, Premier Plus, Mac Plus, and Enhanced Payroll products will no longer be available to new US customers. Instead, Intuit offers them the Enterprise version of the program and assisted payroll service.

In addition, existing users who were able to purchase their QBDT licenses before September 30 can continue to renew their subscriptions and receive product and security updates, as well as support. It might be cheaper for the 1st year, and I can't find a price for renewals on the 2nd, it's nearly $1922.00 for the gold and a big program, you say that price includes payroll? We have nine employees. In my talking with people, smaller businesses don't really want enterprise and we are a small municipality with not a lot of revenue, so we don't either. However, is Enterprise more geared towards municipalities? When the Desktop versions of support stop, we will probably end up changing, so I'm really hoping the Pro continues to get supported as it works very well for us.

We are just using Pro. We're too small for Enterprise and want to keep it simple. Unfortunately, once that goes away, we will need to change programs

We've always just gone through Intuit and I've never heard of that company, third party has always made me nervous. 

In researching them, they provide no phone number or location where their business resides. It appears to be Indonesia?

If you check their user profile, you will find they are at Level 15. I'm sure that marks their reputation in the community, right? Again, you can pay for the license after you activate the license and run QB as I mentioned before. More than 10 of my clients have no problems regarding their license. CAMPS is the key.
