Hi @Hally! I'm here to help you with disallowing multiple access to your files in QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT).
QBDT's multi-user mode feature allows multiple users to access and work on the same company file at the same time. This enhances collaboration and productivity within your organization. However, if you want to restrict multiple access to your files, you can follow these steps to turn it off:
- At the top menu bar, go to File.
- Select Utilities.
- Click Stop Hosting Multi-User Access.
- Follow any on-screen instructions, if there are any.
Moreover, you can also create and manage users in QBDT. This feature allows you to control who has access to your files and what level of access each user has.
