QBO Display colors

So much of your Online display is gray-on-white background, and it is straining my eyes. I cannot see it. I have to make it super big and get really close.

Is there any way to adjust the text color to BLACK?

My eyes hurt!

QBO Display colors

Changing the text color to black is a great idea, jnstelzer.

For now, you're unable to change the text color. The gray-on-white background is working as design.

You can send feedback about the feature that you want by following these steps:

  1. Select the Gear icon at the top, then Feedback.
  2. Enter your comments or product suggestions.
  3. Click Next to submit feedback.

Your valuable feedback goes to our Product Development team to help improve your experience in QuickBooks. You can track feature requests through the QuickBooks Online Feature Requests website.

In the meantime, you can try the new dark mode theme. Let me show you how how to turn it on.

  1. Click the Gear icon at the top.
  2. Select QuickBooks labs under Your Company.
  3. Toggle the switch to turn it on.

I'm adding this link in case you need to change the resolution on your screen: Display preferences. It includes changing browsers and computers' display settings.

Keep me posted if you have additional questions about the text color in QuickBooks. I'll be right here to help you.

QBO Display colors

The QBO online screen colors are awful for older people or people with vision problems. Why is the font color light grey instead of black. Black letters on white screen is the provide the highest contrast and would make it easier to read.  QBO needs to get some older people on the design team.  Somebody really missed the boat on this one. Just wait until you get my age and you will understand why this is so upsetting.  I just can not understand how anyone with a degree in graphic design does not understand why using grey letters on white background is something that should be avoided.
