QBO report for invoices recently paid in full

One of the companies I work with uses QBO invoices for zero-interest layaways.  Invoices with a balance are sent out monthly and customers generally make, at least, a minimum monthly payment.  Does anybody know how to create a report that identifies invoices that recently had a balance reduced to zero?  This would allow us to see which layaways have been paid in full without having to wait for a customer to call/email asking "hey, where is my stuff?"  I'd like it to be a report that I can setup to run and email out to the office manager on a weekly or biweekly basis.

QBO report for invoices recently paid in full

That one gives me a lot of the data I'm looking for, but it doesn't filter down to what I'm needing.  That did give me the idea of looking at the basic Invoice List report.  I'm playing with filters for A/R Paid true and Last Modified Date <30 days; so far that is going the right direction.  It would seem to work best if I could further filter for records that have a Ship Date that isn't blank as we ship out the product once they're paid in full. Alas, that's just some visual filtering when I run the report every 2 weeks!

Thanks for the tip!

QBO report for invoices recently paid in full

Greetings, AequitasPLLC.

I can point you in the right direction about customizing sales reports.

Currently, the option to filter reports to show the Ship Date is unavailable. I suggest letting our engineers know that adding more customization options when filtering reports is important for your business.

The Feedback section is the best place to send product ideas to be considered for future enhancements. Let me provide you with the steps on how to send your suggestions.

Here's how:

  1. Go to the Gear icon at the top.
  2. Select Feedback.
  3. Enter your feedback and suggestions, and choose Next.
  4. Click on the drop-down for Category.
  5. Click on Send message.

I'll do the same thing from my side, so we are hitting them through both employee and customer channels.

In the meantime, you can use the Message displayed on the statement field of the invoice to manually track the product’s ship date’s status. When running a report, the information entered is displayed in the Memo/Description column.

Keep me posted if you have questions about customizing reports. I’ll be around to answer them. Wishing you the best.
