Did anyone else log on this morning to find the Banking Tab in QBO was changed? It is now labeled as "transactions" in the left tab, then click "banking" and each integrated account now only shows the bank balances. The QB balances are missing. So far I am the only one in the office, of 4, that this has happened to. A call to support didn't get me any answers.
Good day to you, Kim.
The view you're seeing right now in your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account is the Business view. This simplifies your workspace and lets you do accounting with ease.
You'll want to switch to Accountant view to show both your bank balance and QuickBooks balance. This view is what you're used to seeing when using QBO for a while.
The main difference is their appearance, feature, menu, and button names. Rest assured, their actions are identical in most cases. To switch back your view to the Accountant view, hover to the Gear icon and click Switch to Accountant view.

I truly appreciate your help! You have given me more info than the rep I talked to! So, now loaded with your info I know what happened. Wanting to see the difference, I clicked on the "switch to business view" button last week but got an error message that said QB can't switch you right now, try again later. So I didn't worry about it any further. Apparently it DID switch me for this one page. We tested this out on another user and the same thing happened to her view. BUT....now we don't have an option to switch back to accountant view. QB is still showing that we are in accountant view. Any idea how we can get back so we can have the view we like? Thanks in advance!
Hi , Kim2950.
In the meantime, let's isolate this issue by running some troubleshooting steps. To start with, let's open your QuickBooks account on a private window. This is the best place to identify any browser-related concerns.
I've added these keyboard shortcuts to open one:
If you're able to see the other Capital One account, we can go back to your main browser and clear its cache. A piled cache can also be the reason for some unexpected issues on the opened pages.

Let me know how it works on your end by leaving a comment. Keep safe!
Yes we did this too. In another call with a different rep, after trying many things, I was told that this is a known issue and the tech dept is working on a resolution. Unfortunately, it took us 6 hours of our day to get to this answer. Apparently this "stuck" in business view is a QBO glitch. No resolution date was given. :(
Thanks anyway.
