Please provide a link and possible discount for the new updated software for QB desktop pro plus 2024.
You can call sales team and purchase QB Desktop 2024 Pro Plus for single user ($650). Another option, contact us and we can help to obtain the license. We can share how to get "discount" if you are eligible.
The site you linked for pricing does not show the subscription price for Quickbooks Plus Annual Subscription Pro Desktop. I am an existing desktop user and my subscription renews in May 2024. I would like to know the price of my renewal. Where do I find this? Thanks!
They will send you some email notification with the renewal price several months before the expiration date. Do you have Pro Plus for single user?

@LollyNino_C my problem with that is, when I contacted support they asked me so many irrelevant questions and 45 minutes later I still did not have any information on pricing. I was just asking for the price of the 2024 desktop pro subscription for one user, two users and three users. All the questioning was very unnecessary, I just needed the price. If you are a pro advisor, you should have this information available to you to help your clients make decisions about software. I do not have time to call support when I need pricing. This is very poor service! I have the information I need now from others on this thread but am quite frustrated that I could not get this easily from QB.
am quite frustrated that I could not get this easily from QB.
Don't get frustrated because they want you to leave QBD. You need extra effort to stick with QBD.
I have had it with QB's! Once upon a time, I thought they were great I was even a pro-advisor, now...horrible! We have Premier Plus "Contractor" The job costing is woefully and uselessly inaccurate, can not custom make the Custom reports spit out the data in the form we want, and when we export to Excel more than 1/2 the time not all of the information exports. It's horrible.
We had so many problems with the payroll module, we changed banks and QB Payroll support was unable to update our DD bank account! How stupid is that? I was writing checks and delivering them to job sites instead of direct deposits. So to compensate they upgraded us from 2022 to the 2023 version "at no charge". "No Charge" until I canceled our payroll subscription and signed up with Paychex, the following day I was forced to pay for our 2023 upgrade, that was in July of 2023...Awful! I will not give them another dime.
Any suggestions for software? We small landscape construction company, hugely busy, do a lot of reforestation/Public works jobs, residential & a small maintenance division. Happy w/paychex so I'm good. there.
Any suggestions for software?
How about upgrading to QB Desktop Enterprise? If you want to ditch QB completely, your only option is an online accounting application or ERP.

Where is your company located? In the US or another country?
Outside US
Will it make any difference? Because I always buy my copy from Intuit USA
They no longer offer QB Desktop 2024 Pro/Premier/Mac licenses online. You will have to contact their US sales team to purchase it. Otherwise, you can buy it through selected partners but you will pay a little more.
Thanks

That's what I was thinking. I'm using Quickbooks Desktop Pro 2021. I don't use payroll, inventory or sales tax. Since they make bank feeds stop working to force you to upgrade, I could manually import my bank and square accounts and match, right? I practically have to anyway now with my bank. It's not automatic. Not that big of a deal. Do I need to do anything? I'm not on a subscription or anything. Bought it outright before all of this mess. Can Intuit make it stop working or slow it down?
I could manually import my bank and square accounts and match, right?
No. It depends on the files your bank provides. After May 2024, you cannot manually import *.qbo files because the file format is part of the bank feed feature. If you can get CSV or XLS files from your bank, you can use an importer tool as a workaround. It is a one-time $199 license.

Otherwise, you may consider another option to keep the bank feed feature running. Contact me in private for details.
did anyone point out that intuit does NOT recommend nor support the QBO back to QBD?
i went round and round with the office of the president as i hated when we switched to qbo... qbo is a disaster in my opinion and i have used QB for 30 yrs or so. QBO is the attempt to get rid of qbd and charge more money.
did anyone point out that intuit does NOT recommend nor support the QBO back to QBD?
You can purchase a 3rd party service to convert data from QBO to QBD if required.
Have you purchased the license of QBD 2024?
i was told this - however the original question did not mention this.
So I have a QB DT 2021 Premier Edition I use for a small non-profit, and I do mean SMALL. I use no online features in any way. Everything is done locally on my desktop and business cloud services. I received an email from an Intuit Quickbooks salesperson, saying please contact us to help you continue your use of QB, once support is canceled. I was informed by this salesperson that after May, I would be charged almost $1,000 US dollars a year to continue using a product that was already purchased, and not using any online QB services other than upgrade type stuff, which I honestly am not concerned about. The software, as is, is sufficient for my needs. IS THIS CORRECT? I will be charged? Or can I continue to use my software without any charges?
After using Quickbooks Desktop for the past 18 years, I was shocked to find out what Intuit has done. My QBDTpro 2020 is no longer supported, so as I have always done in the past I clicked on UPDATE. Funny, the only thing that comes up is QB Online. I don't want to use the online version so I called and struggled through sales only to find out that QBDT Pro will now cost me $648. I was not told this was a subscription and that it would now cost me every year, that much or more based on the last couple of outrageous price hikes. Listen up Intuit, YOU SUCK and have become so greedy that I hope you lose all your small business customers. If I can find a substitute I plan on staying far away from any more Intuit products.
Ignore the email. It could just be a scam. Log in to your CAMPS and check your license status there. If you are using QB Desktop 2021 with a non-subscription license, you can still use it after May 2024.
If I can find a substitute I plan on staying far away from any more Intuit products.
You can contact @Fiat Lux - ASIA in private and they will share another option.
Here's the email address from the "Salesman". Looks pretty legit to me:
Well, apparently it won't let me put the email in here. So the name was Anthony [last name removed]. The email was his first name _ last name @ intuit.com.
