Quickbooks got stuck for a second

Been dealing with this issue for several months now. Had tech support level 2 check all settings, all were fine. Swapped in SSD into computers, added 8gb ram to the server (now has 16gb). Both computers are hard lined into the network. No delay between computer networks. Had data services take my data file and repair it and it still freezes up on both computer at random.

Does anyone have ANY advice on this before i cancel quickbooks and get my money back?

Quickbooks got stuck for a second

is this a multi user setup using 2 license and a server? if so remove the quickbooks file from the server and set one of the pc's as the file location.

Quickbooks got stuck for a second

Hello there, @Nassau Hobby Center.

I'm here to help open your QuickBooks without any glitch.

First, you may need to download and install QuickBooks Point of Sale release updates, here's how:

  1. Visit the Update to the latest release web page.
  2. Make sure your product is selected. If not, click the Change link and select your QuickBooks Point of Sale product.
  3. Click Get the latest updates.
  4. When the download completes, double-click to install the file.

After, you may need to restart Windows for the system to refresh. For the detailed process, you may check this article: Update Point of Sale to the latest release.

For future reference, you can also check this article: Resolve Point of Sale errors in Windows 10.

Also, if you need further assistance with the process, I suggest getting in touch with our Point of Sale Support to check this further for you. For the support's contact information:

  1. Go to: https://community.intuit.com/browse/payments-contact-us.
  2. Check the support's contact information under Intuit Point of Sale (QuickBooks Desktop).

Stay in touch if you have any other QuickBooks concerns. I'm always here to help!
