Buy nowMy Quickbooks Mac desktop has been crashing when attempting to send an invoice . The funny thing is that it doesn't happen when emailing an invoice.
I meant to say it emails estimates ok .
Hello there, @salesAPS. I got here a set of steps that will help you prevent your QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) for Mac from crashing when emailing invoice.
Let's first restart your computer to give it a fresh start. Once done, ensure that your QBDT for Mac program is updated to the latest release. This helps you keep the newest components and bug fixes.
When finished, create a statement and verify if the program will crash again. If the same thing happens, let's run the Verify utility to determine if there’s any data that needs fixing. If you found one, we can fix it using the Rebuild tool. Here's how:
However, if this does not work, let's now run your computer in Safe Boot mode to figure out if there’s a conflict between QBDT and something installed on your computer. Let me guide you on how:
If you still experience the same thing, you can follow Solutions 5 to 6 of this article: Troubleshoot Crash Catcher.
Once everything is fine, you're ready to create, print, and email statements.
I also added this helpful resource that you can use as a guide in case you need to process customer payments online: Turn on online payments in QuickBooks Desktop for Mac.
I'll be here ready to lend a hand if you have other concerns accessing your QBDT Mac program. Please don't hesitate to leave a reply below. Stay safe.
Which QB Desktop year version and MacOS do you run?
