I have not followed up on any third party app here.
I guess i should, if anyone has advice please let me know.

We use QBO just to reflect the figures here together with other companies to do a consolidated view.

DATEV is still the one connected to all the tax authorities etc so this should be the main accounting software to use to ensure all connections.
Unfortunatelly Germany is what it is in this regard.

You can't use TP for this requirement. You need to have another accounting app as the bridging app between QBO and DATEV.

There is no connector to export data from QBO directly to DATEV. You will have 3 options

1. Replace QBO with another accounting app that supports DATEV. You can convert your data from QBO to QB Desktop file format and use the trial version to access your historical data for good. You'll start from scratch on the new app to lower your conversion costs.

2. You will manage QBO and another accounting app at the same time. You'll use a connector to mirror the data you enter in QBO to that app. You will use the app to export data to DATEV.

3. Periodically convert your data from QBO to another accounting app whenever you need to export data to DATEV.
