Let's get your software updated so you can open your QuickBooks Desktop, diana34.
To ensure you get the most recent improvements of QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT), I recommend installing the new updates before opening the program. This way, we can ensure your software is equipped with the latest security features and fixes.
You can manually download and run the file with updates from your computer using web-patch. This process is used when we're unable to restore the updates within QuickBooks.
Here's how:
- Please open this page: Downloads & Updates.
- Select the United States (US) country, your QuickBooks product, and the version (see sample screenshot below).
- Click Search and click on Get the latest release in blue text. This will download the qbwebpatch.exe file, which you will run later on.
- After running the file, you can restart your PC.
Once done, you can open your QuickBooks as Admin and login to your company file. For your reference, you can visit this article: Update QuickBooks Desktop to the latest release. This will provide you steps on how to do manual updates.
