How did you find the number to call? It's not a legit Intuit Support.
How big is your file size?
Hi there, @MarianH.
Please know this isn’t the service I want you to encounter. I also appreciate the things you’ve done so far to fix this issue. I’m here to ensure you're able to speak with one of our specialists in QuickBooks Desktop.
As Fiat mentioned, the contact number you’ve reached out to is not our Support Team. On the other hand, we’re unable to give you a contact number directly since Community is a public space. You’ll want to visit this reference and scroll down at the bottom to see the contact number: Contact QuickBooks Desktop support.
Since you're still getting the same result after the troubleshooting steps you’ve performed, I recommend you contact our Support Team from your account. They can pull up your account in a secure environment and further investigate this behavior. Please ensure to call them within our support hours to quickly address your concern.
Here’s how:
However, if you’re unable to access your account, you can open a sample file and contact support from there.
You’ll want to familiarize the official Intuit correspondence and websites. This way, you can protect yourself and your business from these security risks. For more details, check out this article: Identify suspicious activity, phishing scams, and potential fraud.
If you have any other questions with the upgrading process, feel free to ask. The Community is always here to have your back. Have a great day.
