QuickBooks toggling between 2022 and 2019

I upgraded from QuickBooks Pro Desktop 2019 to QuickBooks Pro Plus 2022 on 5/23/2022

Working in 2022.since.

Went to open on 6/14/22 and it required a Rebuild. Result is a type =3

Won't let me in QuickBooks untill I called a [removed].  I called and they want $1,999.99 to fix

Downloaded QuickBooks Tool Hub.

Report shows 5/23/22 Quickbooks 2022.

on 5/24 report shows Quickbooks 2019.  This shows through 6/10/22

On 6/20/22 report shows Quickbooks 2022 Then Report shows it went back to Quickbooks 2019.

I just paid to upgrade to 2022 and now they want $1,999.99 to fix.

How do I fix???

How did you find the number to call? It's not a legit Intuit Support.

How big is your file size?

QuickBooks toggling between 2022 and 2019

Hi there, @MarianH.

Please know this isn’t the service I want you to encounter. I also appreciate the things you’ve done so far to fix this issue. I’m here to ensure you're able to speak with one of our specialists in QuickBooks Desktop.

As Fiat mentioned, the contact number you’ve reached out to is not our Support Team. On the other hand, we’re unable to give you a contact number directly since Community is a public space. You’ll want to visit this reference and scroll down at the bottom to see the contact number: Contact QuickBooks Desktop support.

Since you're still getting the same result after the troubleshooting steps you’ve performed, I recommend you contact our Support Team from your account. They can pull up your account in a secure environment and further investigate this behavior. Please ensure to call them within our support hours to quickly address your concern.

Here’s how:

  1. Go to the Help menu, then select QuickBooks Desktop Help.
  2. Select Contact Us.
  3. Give a brief description of your issue, then click Let's talk and then choose a way to connect.

However, if you’re unable to access your account, you can open a sample file and contact support from there.

You’ll want to familiarize the official Intuit correspondence and websites. This way, you can protect yourself and your business from these security risks. For more details, check out this article: Identify suspicious activity, phishing scams, and potential fraud

If you have any other questions with the upgrading process, feel free to ask. The Community is always here to have your back. Have a great day.
