Hello there, dlrknox.
I want to make sure that your issue with the unresponsive QuickBooks Online program gets resolved.
Normally, this kind of behavior can be fixed by basic troubleshooting steps. Since you've already tried them, I encourage reaching out to our QuickBooks Care Team. This way, they can help you void/delete the paycheck and recreate it with a paper check.
Here's how to reach them:
I'm adding this article to know our support hours for live agents: QuickBooks Online Support.
In the meantime, you'll want to check out our Help Articles to help you with the tasks and tips when using QBO.
Keep me posted if you need more help in editing the return address in QBO. Have a pleasant day ahead.
You have to use the email address they invited you with. If that’s not the one you use for your QB login then you can 1) have them resend your invite using that email address, or 2) create a login with the email address they used.
If they invited you with the correct email address (the one you’ve already used for login) then sometimes QB can be quirky here. You accept the invite, login with your credentials (sounds like this is what you did), then log out and log in at QBO.intuit.com and you should see their company listed along with whatever company you already have access for. You can’t use the invite link again, you have to use the direct QBO login. Hope this works!
I have the same issue and is tax season and I don’t have a reliable software is so frustrated that you want to go fast and the website doesn’t even open
This is unusual, Gloria.
I know this hasn't been an easy process for you. Let me make it up to you by ensuring this gets resolved.
Unexpected behavior in QuickBooks Online could be a browser-related issue. The outdated stored cache can affect the performance of the program and make it unresponsive.
To fix this, let's access your QuickBooks Online account via a private window. This is a good place to determine if there's an issue with the browser. Here are the keyboard shortcuts:
If the program responds faster in the private widow, I'd recommend going back to the regular browser. Then, clear its cache. Otherwise, you can use other supported browsers. They also provide the best and most secure experience with QuickBooks.
In case none of these fixes the problem, I'd suggest contacting our QuickBooks Support Team. They're equipped with tools to check the cause. It'll also allow them to submit a ticket to our engineering team to alert them about the issue if necessary. Here's how:
To ensure that you'll be assisted on time, please see our support hours.
Additionally, I've added this article that'll help you learn about what you and your accountant need to do in QuickBooks Online to close out the previous year and prepare for the new one:
If you encounter any error messages when accessing the program, please let us know. This way, we'll be able to check the cause.
Please keep us posted if you need additional help preparing and filing taxes. We're always here to help you out.
