Running web connector seeing error? messages

Hello,

I'm running quickbooks enterprise 2021. When running the webconnector I'm seeing a long list of the following messages in my QBWIN.LOG. All records are processed, I would like to know if this is something I should be concerned about, what does this mean?

Thanks!

When running web connector

Running web connector seeing error? messages

Let me share with you some insights about web connector errors and how to fix this, @bqdatabase.

Web Connector allows you to connect third-party applications to QuickBooks Desktop. If you get an error while using it, we can use the Verify and Rebuild data tool to self-identifies the most commonly known data issues within a company file.

Here's how:

  1. Choose Window then Close All.
  2. Select File then click Utilities
  3. Select Verify Data.
  4. If QuickBooks doesn't find any problems, select OK. You can keep using your company file.
  5. If QuickBooks finds an issue with your company file, choose Rebuild Now.
  6. On the QuickBooks Information window, select OK. Follow the onscreen steps to save a backup.
  7. Let the tool repair your file.
  8. When the tool finishes, click OK.

For more info, please see this article: Verify and Rebuild Data in QuickBooks Desktop. If the issue persists, I suggest uninstalling and reinstalling the QuickBooks Web Connector.

Once everything is okay, here's how to set up a Web Connector in QuickBooks.

Thank you for your time and get back to this thread if you have other concerns with QuickBooks Web Connect. I hope you have a lovely afternoon.

Already done a verify and rebuild, no issues found.

Messages in QBWIN.LOG still appear - explain to me the message and what it means.

Thanks for posting here, @bqdatabase,

I want to make sure you're able to work without any issues. To help you with this. In the meantime, let's try one more troubleshooting by repairing the software to fix program issues in QuickBooks. To do that, follow the steps below:

  1. Reboot the computer and tap the Windows Start menu.
  2. Find Control Panel on the search field or select it from the list.
  3. Press Programs and Features then Uninstall a Program.

Note: If you don't see Programs and Features, select Programs instead. Then select Program and Features.

  4. Pick the program from the list, then press Uninstall/Change.
  5. Click on Continue, or Next. then Repair.
  6. Press Next again then wait for the tool to start its diagnosis.
  7. Hit Finish when done.

If all else fail, I'd recommend that you work with our Technical Support Team this time. Our representatives can run some tests on your company file to check  what's causing this odd behavior.

To get our Support, follow the steps below:

  1. Open QuickBooks and click the Help menu.
  2. Select QuickBooks Desktop Help.
  3. On the pop-up screen select Contact us.
  4. Click the Search for Something else button then type your concern in the Ask us anything box.
  5. Hit Search then scroll down to get your contact options.

Let me know how it goes. I'll be right here if you need anything else, as I want to make sure this is taken care of. Have a good one!

Already done that also, but the rep had no idea what this is and was not familiar with the QBWIN.LOG either.
