I need to enter in a Sale Tax Adjustment. It will need to be a negative number for the adjustment between the State and QuickBooks. I've done this before but now it won't let me. I have followed the instructions in other posts with the same issue to no avail. In fact, after following those instructions QB won't even allow me access to the "Reason" drop box with it turning red and refusing to drop down. I requested a call back and then went back to it and now the "Reason" drop down box works but still won't let me enter the correct adjustment amount.
I am frustrated beyond belief with QuickBooks! Every single task I come to, no matter how simple, no matter how many times I've done it before has issues, problems and bugs. From layout templates being deleted by updates, to layout templates that no longer function due to updates, to some text boxes that have to be pre-clicked before you can edit the text as normal or all the content gets deleted, to not having an auto-save and losing all your work if you get pulled away on another task, to the "rate" price on line items just disappearing every time you enter a price for a product, to oh one day after an update half of my product items had the sales tax unchecked - glad I caught that one. The list is absolutely endless. I can't get a single thing done!
