I can provide some information about the payroll in QuickBooks Online.
To determine if you can integrate the third-party app, I recommend contacting the SpringAhead Support Team. This way, you'll be able to check if they can sync over data into our system.
In the Online version, employees can be accessed through the Payroll tab only. You can still access this section without subscribing to the payroll service.
In case you need the steps on how to add employees without payroll, here's how:
- On the left panel, click Payroll.
- Press Add an employee.
- Select Not right now.
- Enter employee information.
- Hit Save.
- The employee's information will now show from the Employees tab.
