Stop sharing reports

Good morning, @miguel-hgh-pharm.

Thanks for taking the time to reach out to the QuickBooks Community. You can use the steps I've included below to stop sharing the report.

  1. Go to the Reports tab, then choose Custom reports.
  2. Click Edit.
  3. In the Share with field, select None.

      4. Tap Save and close.

For more information about using reports in QuickBooks Online, check out the help articles I've included below:

That should do it. Let me know if you have any questions or concerns. Take care!

Stop sharing reports

Hi there! Thank you so much for your help.

That "Share with" field is disabled for me.

What should I do?

Stop sharing reports

Thanks for getting back with the Community, miguel-hgh-pharm.

Once you share a customer report with all users by selecting All in its Share with drop-down, it can't be be changed at a later time.

I can certainly understand how an ability to change a saved custom report's Share with option from All to None could be useful and have submitted a suggestion about it as of today.

You can also submit your own feature requests while signed in.

Here's how:

  1. Use the Gear () icon, then go to Feedback.
  2. Enter your suggestion(s) in the Have feedback? window.
  3. If necessary, attach a file with your Camera () icon.
  4. Select Next.

Your feedback's definitely valuable to Intuit. It will be reviewed by our Product Development team and considered in future updates. You can stay up-to-date with the latest news about your product by reviewing Intuit's Product Updates webpage.

As a workaround, you can delete and re-create the custom report, then save it and set its Share with setting to None.

I've also included a detailed resource about working with custom reports which may come in handy moving forward: Customize reports

I'll be here to help if there's any additional questions. Have an awesome day!
